Have you ever considered what the angels see when we pray?
Perhaps, as we lift up our voices to the heavens and pour out all that is on our hearts to our Good Father, something wondrous takes place.
We cannot see it. No, not with mortal eyes. But the heavenly beings see and look on with awe. For from each one of us, in that quiet, hidden moment of prayer, a long silk strand stretches forth. Up, up, up, it flutters, high into the Heavenlies, from the very core of our being. No one’s ribbon is the same, for the color spectrum in Heaven is infinite, far beyond that of ROYGBIV. The strand stretches higher and higher, unfurling all the way into the very Throne Room of Heaven.
There, it is received by the delicate hands of the angels and woven together, with all the other strands. And as the fingers of those Celestial Seamstresses fly about, weaving an intricate pattern of beauty, they gasp in amazement at the work of their hands, inspired by their Heavenly Father, and exclaim: how glorious!
